Maybe so. The three major objections I have were all captains picks IMO. Errol would have dearly loved 3D, he also casually mentioned that a second rig was available. Read into that want you wish but to me it affirms that all is not as clear cut and honky dory as you see it.
No matter we are here now. Pyrrhic success is still better than failure. As to twelve months, we’ll if Al2 had proceeded immediately on Al1 it would have saved 1 month in rig mobilisation alone,It just makes no sense to move a rig twice just to get back to the exact start. So I don’t see where your clock starts. As I say, it’s water under the bridge now and things look obvious in retrospect, but as you well remember I foresaw and foretold events. Watching it all unfold was extremely frustrating. I was not alone amongst peers.
