Sheritt rigs are in Cuba to look after their own interests. If anybody did some lite research they didn't have a formalised extension to their Gas power supply joint venture where they are now drilling until September 2022 hence why MAY was able to probably source this idle rig during that period.
They are not there to drill holes other companies, so you are at the whim of what Sheritt is doing with their own interests at any given time. Probably doesn't sound like a long term sustainable model so MAY and Angolan's may need to come up with a more long term solution after this appraisal campaign.
