Can't see how AP is trying to prop the share price - if anything its more like his not concerned with SP and is more focused on whats happening on the ground. Although it would appear that some large buyers (2m to 3m) have been putting a floor on the SP for the last few weeks - or someone is accumulating.
The $9m cash on hand is more than sufficient to funds their share of the two pending production wells - which are relatively shallow and quick. On top of that they are also receiving a 20% management fee from Sonangol (F/Y 2024 they actually made a $4m profit as a result of management fees).
If not producing oil from the new 2 wells within next 60 days - CR will then be an issue.
