    I looked at this when they announced the first good hit and back then it was quite apparent that the high grade was going to be patchy.

    IMO the high grade is not an anomaly, it's just small (circled in purple). I haven't studied it in detail but it looks to me like there's a small dilation zone parallel to the bend in the Hume Fault. This has created a pressure shadow which caused gold to precipitate there forming a small linear shoot. You need to think of these deposits as a 3D plumbing system or network with zones of HG and LG controlled by the interaction of the rock types and alteration zones with structural elements such as faults.

    I can't see how it's got much potential to have any significant north-south extent, so the HG shoot has what looks like limited potential for significant tonnage. Another way to look at it is that the deposit is 5% HG, 95% LG.
