This is obviously a complex story here, I like that the company is going back and sampling as much historical core as possible to see if there are any intersections that were not sampled, before drilling too much more, may require some detialed work to figure out even which way and where to drill in the future. This prospect may have been drilled before but the structural complexity and additional knowledge gained since the original historical drilling now mean thats its highly possible that the mineralisation isn't closed off properly in many or indeed any direction yet.

Have seen this many times before, just because its been drilled before in the past, dosen't mean its been sampled properly, and hence doesn't mean that its understood yet. And if you don't understand the geometry and the structural complexity, then you can bet that it isn't closed off along strike or down dip yet.

I wouldn't be surprised if the old historical drill core resampling throws up a few more mineralised zones that may have been missed by previous explorers which will help understanding of the geology, but will require follow up drilling to test some of these geological interpretations.

Stock is priced March Covid19 apocalypse levels with a higher gold price now and more geological knowledge than before (admittedly more work required). Will be keeping an eye on this one.
