First, let's zoom out and check out the shaded prospective phosphate area above 'F', the Barkly Hwy...



Hmmm, OK Poet, Georgina Basin is fertile for phosphate around the edges but Avenira's Wonarah (F) situated below the Barkly Hwy is really where the money is. After all, Wonarah is the biggest phosphate deposit in Oz.

Yeah, good point, and they'll need more phosphate for their cathode manufacturing plant. Did you know, they'll sink $1.2 billion capital into it and expect a 30 year mine life with up to 350 jobs...


Seriously Poet, nearology isn't near enough... same thing with KGL and Jean Elson in East Arunta.

OK but what about our 5 star phosphate deposit map above the Barkly which was featured in the AMAGRAD from a couple of years ago?...



OK, sure, these big 5 deposits look pretty. And, to be fair, they're massive in comparison to Wonarah and the $1.2 billion they'll sink into it for a 30 year mine life.

But is that really it Poet? Nearology and AMAGRAD. I mean, come on, I wasn't born yesterday.

Hmm, what about the 2 billion tonne resource north of Wonarah identified by Minemakers in 2008 (see previous post).

Hmm, magnetics/gravity was done for the 2018 Frewena report, it also identified a "large scale intrusive feature" (pink dotted area) sitting just above the Barkly Hwy, where1 & 2 phosphate deposits above fit into it....
