Cup has had fairly ordinary financial metrics recently. Maybe the market perceives that having accountant involvement in financial advice is a good thing. Reduces the risk of "non common sense" financial planning outcomes. I would never deal with a big banks financial planner, but if I wasn't in the finance industry I would gain some comfort from my accountant being OK with the financial plan.
They also get $12m net cash for $2.5m - lol. Market cap up $19m. If they can stabilise the acquired business, with an $8b FUA (at 0.16%??? not at all sure) that is $13m per annum, but everybody has to fill out the annual review form???
