I reckon I've seen this quite a few times over the last year or so;- the last couple of hours of trading at ASX sees substantial new buying, removing a couple of lines of supply and the day finishing on the high. About 6 hours later in the European/US markets the paper price of silver takes off.
Clearly there is some asymmetrical knowledge at play.
Unfortunately for IVR holders the little upswing in SP generally fades away quite quickly, and the POS flattens out (but doesn't retreat to the same extent as IVR). IVR is definitely not properly correlated to POS (innit Silvgo?).
Will next week be any different - it has been a while since we saw POS at +6.4% and maybe we can break through and sustain the SP? Time will tell.
