No I agree there is a totally different message coming from the two announcements but cessation of drilling is accurate from both of them. It's actually not ambiguous at all.
And to be fair, if you've spent your entire drilling budget on a quarter of the targets and you're now shelving any further drilling then it can only be interpreted as a bad outcome. Having said that AIS are probably doing the prudent thing now although ARE clearly don't agree.
