My thinking is that NanoDX have a successful prototype otherwise why mention IBM by name.... you just wouldn't mention their name if you had an experimental association with their CMOS chip.
(NO evidence for this but...) The CMOS chip will be able to register the strength of the Covid indicator and maybe even the strain (assuming you can fit multiples sensera chips onto the same device) . Something I never considered was the presence of muliple fluid sensors, making the cartridge more lucrative for sensera. The data collection aspect is really cool.
