Commercial contracts always have a cowboy aspect to the details.
This is just another example of somebody trying to get in under a legal arrangement for corporate gain by using the lawyers.
This tactic is similar to my younger sister telling my mum that I had pinched her lollies, just so I got in trouble and then she got more lollies.
This is just my opinion.
