At this stage, I do not know whether Altura or Civmec are right in this dispute.

What I find troubling is that neither the last Annual Report nor the 317 page "Debt Refinancing Proposal" document gives even the slightest hint that there is an outstanding payment that is in dispute. Is it an unreasonable expectation on my part that this ought to be disclosed?

Unless I am blind, I found no reference to Civmec in the Annual Report, no mention of a dispute about completed works in "Contingent Liabilities" and no small footnote under "Payables" given small punters like me even the slightest chance to pick up that something might be amiss.

Does anyone who follows the accounts of Altura in forensic detail have any insights where the figures in dispute might be buried in the accounts?
