    I am sure that Ted will be focussed on the oil, not on the indices, and so he should.

    As for competing with non-oil investments, that is something for us to decide as investors. Ted's job is to give us one of the best mid cap oilers possible, for us to put our oil money into (as some of us want LT exposure to oil - a resource not getting any more accessible, or cheaper to find and develop).

    And as for your comment to Wasa, half of another longterm 16000 bopd would be a problem most ASX oilers would love to have, esp with such low drilling costs etc.

    Bottom line: Show me a MUCH better oiler, and I will listen to you. Until then you need to give me a good reason to completely avoid oil. I detect eyes less than fully functional.
