Mgmt and BoD will claim that the material change to guidance stems from the latest mechanical issue which cant be resolved until Q4 CY24. Up until Jan 20, they thought it would come back online and still produce within the range guidance previously provided.
Despite mgmt and BoD recent lack of respect for all shareholders (rather than a few select insto's) and disclosure obligations, based on the updated guidance KAR is still trading at a significant discount on an EV and PE basis.agreed. incompetence is no excuse.
