I'm glad someone else did some indepth digging then. And yeah in all fairness it wasn't just that, that put me off. Alongside the obvious moral risk that I felt I would be buying with this stock was the what I saw to be somewhat questionable money handling and accounting, I felt that they were spending money (dividends were the biggest one for me, and with the accounting, my memory fails me somewhat on this matter, but I think I remember them making out that they'd seen massive growth/revenue/increases in EPS when to me, it looked more like extraordinary earnings) when it was clear they'd be having some serious battles over the coming years, after seeing the ownership structure I felt that perhaps there was a lot of self-interest in this stock. Unfortunate in many ways, as I feel under different circumstances this would have been a screaming buy, but yeah, it ticked too many "not sure" boxes for me. I think your timeline prediction is also correct.
