No point in taking up the SPP as it's trading below that amount.
I expect a fund will step in to support the sp at this level though. The other benefit to buying on market rather than the SPP is the limitations that companies put on people with these SPP's like a minimum order of $2500....which I haven't seen as yet in this announcement. It would be quite rare these days if you could apply for any amount of shares (say $500 worth if that's all you can afford)
