The editorial board, ie a handful of the most significant medical researchers in the world that have great influence in the direction of medicine moving forward see our product as very important.
Not sure how many of you have had much to do with editorial boards at a leading journal, my personal experience is that they more than anyone dictate future research agendas. Most researchers undertaking medical trials consider very carefully what these journals/editors consider relevant.
