cant say i agree with your train of thought. AMU has just completed a BB over the last 12 months and we have not seen any changes in major shareholdings. Perhaps they are not clamouring to get out ?
It would be illegal for them to make any "special arrangements" with individual holders under the rules of the current BB.
BB's are a commonly used form of capital management and there is plenty of justifications for it in the explanatory statement. I would of thought that the cost of preparing that document was negligible in the scheme of things
