Hi Dunken I think ganfeng forced the announcement when they announced to the HK market the approval of $96 mil for 13.8% of RIM BUT when they realized they did not get back the 51% offtake,they dropped out. They would have already been in talks with PLS (check PLS offtake / finance announcement) as they clearly needed the assurance of supply from feb 2020. imo they are not looking for income from rim but supply (higher profits / upstream processing, the same as NMT is trying to achieve with the funds from the sale. I think NMT will sell to investment fund/s as they would achieve a healthy roi. Still happy to hold LT as that will be where the rewards are.
