Hundreds of staff at Australia’s largest steelworks have launched industrial action, walking off the job for the first time in years as a pay dispute with steel giant BlueScope escalated.
As many as 500 workers gathered at the entrance to BlueScope’s Port Kembla plant in NSW at 10am to join the four-hour action on Tuesday, union officials said.
This was a while ago now but would this have had any effect?
