This comment sounds as though it could have come from Marcelino Fernández Verdes rather than a minority shareholder, and the share price prognosis remained valid for all of 27½ hours.
"Some shareholders" would be more likely to accept an offer closer to the $50 that CIM was trading at in May last year rather than the current bargain price ( which may have been given a modest boost today following Daniel Andrews' statement that the Vic government will be continuing, and perhaps boosting, its infrastructure spending).
