Don’t forget that the SP has increased dramatically recently, increasing the capitalisation of the company. That’s why my calculation above was on the lower side. I am cautiously optimistic, but not carried away by optimism about the Deep Green transaction. Those of us who have been with CDM for some time are still scarred by the stupidity of Karl’s actions re Melbourne IT, and although he is by far the biggest SH, don’t forget that he has been buying with his ears pinned back since the depths of gloom last year and spending (and making more) in that period that we would in a lifetime. What I am saying is, that CDM could drop 30 cents a share and Karl would still be well and truly in The money ! Trust takes a long time to earn, but is lost quickly ! It will take quite some time for the longer term holders in CDM to have their confidence in Karl justified, and reassured that the Melbourne IT fiasco lesson has been learnt and will not recur at some stage.
