you could be correct, but they could also be limited by ASX Rule 7.33 which states:
Rule 7.33 and others designed to prevent companies from pumping up their sp.
Max price allowed under this Rule was $4.953 on 31 May.
The sp has risen quickly another 4% or so since then, so the "Allowed Max Price" will have risen too, but the sp may still be above this "Allowed Max Price", so S32s BuyBack agent may be prevented from buying.
