Well, my guess about buyback activity on Monday was wrong. Now, the rats (shorters) are at play while the cat is away.
These aren't investors desperate to sell at any low price. There is just enough selling at the market line to get shares lower. Notice that a lot of shares are hanging around DNA's buyback maximum (about 96 cents). Investors who want to sell at the highest possible price don't act like today's trading activity. Meanwhile, many buy side orders are more retail-looking (even numbers of $4k or more).
Sigh, just have to let the market play out and hope DNA is picking up shares cheaply, which is most important to benefit shareholders in the long run.
