If you ever listen to any of hamish's or other Magellan people speak you will realise they aren't interested in short term investing.
1.5 years is not even close to the timeline they look at returns over - let's see that chart after 10 years.
Can you move the timeline on that chart back 10 years? the Magellan global fund would have to be in there.
My take on it is if you don't want to invest with these guys for a least a decade and be patient, then you should have your money tied up here.
