I made some (excellent!) Seville marmalade on the weekend and gave a jar to a wonderful ex-geologist friend, and tonight as we walked a bit together, she grumbled mildly that it wasn’t ‘proper’ Oxford bitter marmalade as I had cut the rinds too fine, and the colour was too light. So I strategically steered off that topic by boasting my little gold company had made almost 25% today… she upped the ante on me (put me in thr jam so to speak ) by immediately saying said “..Was it the mineral resource announcement? Will they be at the Diggers?,, You should go!”

She has a mate in Kal I could stay with, but I imagine tickets are booked out, including transport …. And, as she knows, I hate crowds …
But gee I wish I could say thank you to Simon in person ….
