    You may be right about the reason BGL has not been taken over. I notice the reserve grade is now only 5gm/t down from 6.1. NN/Pepper looks like having a higher grade than BGL maybe significantly higher, even the wider Dalgaranga looks like being higher now being close to BGL reserve grade. However, we do not yet have a reserve for SPR so maybe we should wait for the reserve grade validation. SPR, unlike BGL, applied top cuts to calculate the indicated resource, so I have more confidence the reserve grade will be closer to the indicated grade than it was for BGL (I expect it to be lower as MoM suggested).

    I also believe they are reasons why DEG has not been taken out even though it is a very big deposit. Specifically maybe the financial studies were like BGL's too good to believe! I am sceptical about DEG’s real value - huge capital cost is a big turn off as is the refractory nature of the gold.
