Agreed better for GCY to go it alone if it can , esp now it is not spinning its wheels mining gold at a loss.
Yes it does not have to be another goldie interested in GCY most of these mining guys are really just interested in mining any metal not just gold .
Sandfire further north was UG mining copper , the mine would be about finished now , they have a lot of cash ,and a lack lustre project over in Portugal from memory they are developing , but something relatively close to Perth would surely be of interest to execs not interested in traipsing away from family to the other side of the world ?
Probably other similar companies out there with a wad of cash and mining skill sets looking to diversify .
Wattle dam was an amazing find, darn horses sniffing up gold , someone should write a book about it and the MD who slept under the stars with his kids looking for the veins .
