There's a fair bit of shorting going on. From what I have seen tends to happen here in Oz the taller the poppy grows and the more it looks like blooming into a show winner.
Also off topic yet is this little missive out of America anything of a concern? Is it just me or does it suggest manipulation of our market and other naughty things by our good friends there might now be okay with the big boss.
