I saw an article/interview where they advised the incubation times was 2 to 10 days (more typically 4-8 days) once infected. Hence the 14 day isolation period. Researchers are unsure if a person is shedding the virus at this stage but suspect they maybe.

For most (the 80%) when the virus presents they would deal with the virus in 3 days. People are definitely shedding the virus at this stage.

Once the virus is defeated not all traces of the virus are out of the body. There is some ongoing research to try to understand how long after the virus is defeated does the body shed the virus. As expected, it would be different for different people and could be as mush as 30 days. Not trying to be an alarmist here...

What I also saw/read was that it could take 100s or 1000s of virus molecules to get infected...
