Unlike Beetaloo, there appears to be little to no public opposition to this project.
It is being confected/created out of thin air.
The company has contributed to this, but the media & NTEPA also are playing a role.
There is little I can see that can be done about it, certainly I have no idea what can be done.
But I imagine if there is a solution it will be political - NT govt, possibly Federal & also likely at the company level.
The net/end result is that a known process is now a cluster mess.
I've no idea what happens next.
