The Rosebery mine will host a town hall meeting to discuss how the operation intends to support the future of the mine. The senior leadership team and technical experts will provide an update on several projects to support the mine extension and operations beyond 2028.
The team will provide an overview of the exploration program currently underway, and the significant $26 million investment by the business to accelerate drilling in 2023, with a further investment in 2024. The financial contribution to the program in 2023 represents 80% of the entire exploration expenditure by the Tasmanian industry in the 21/22 financial year ($32 million).
The operation will also provide an overview of the ongoing investigations to secure safe and potentially viable tailings management solutions."
