I actually do think the permit is getting close to 'imminent' (I did have a laugh at your post though, haha!). Obviously the word imminent was thrown around prematurely and arguably shamefully, but we're actually getting close now. I've been saying for over a year that we'd get the permit around the time the 2,000TPA plant is running as designed, my reasons and the supposition itself have been very unpopular with some members here, especially a year or so ago when they said I was stupid for expecting it to take so long, but those reasons all still stand, and most inspiring to me was the recent PR piece by the government, talking us up, stating the benefits our project offers to the world and the local people and communities.

I just can't see them doing that unless they were going to issue the permit. Why bother making something look good to the people if you're planning to block them? I was thrilled to see them put that out, both because it heavily indicates they're planning to issue the permit, and because it indicates that they're probably going to do it while their PR work is fresh. Possibly they will release more in the near future and then issue the permit, but either way they are prepping the community for being happy or at least tolerant of lithium expansion.
