Probably shouldn't be yet I remain amazed by the number of LI profile hits & connection requests from C level & Directors that follow on from measured comments on companies &/or their products.
It's an excellent platform for digging into company personnel, subtly getting relevant points across and (sometimes) receiving information gems.
A great tool in the DYOR arsenal.
