Seriously though, with the Russian war games looking to start an actual war, I don’t see any safe prediction, so I basically ignoring Putin when I say I expect an interesting day.
Improved logistics: I consider the exceptional efforts to address logistics difficulties as another in a continuing series of effective executions by a company that just keeps getting it done. Full footing of Lynas in Australia is going to make Aussie investors happy to pay up. The solvent exchange process that will continue at the LAMP is non-controversial. If the Chinese have been continuing to make things difficult in the shadows, which some but not I suggest, they will soon have nothing to work with at all. Wrong Track will be out of a job.
Improved revenue: I am expecting a very profitable quarter.
Improved outlook: I suspect the “briefing” portion will include information on the drilling results, solidifying potential for continuing Lynas growth. I also anticipate an update on KAL progress; another catalyst. If drilling results are not reported it will be unfavorable imho. First they said December, then Jan/Feb as I recall not very specific but certainly not March or Spring. Those results are available imho; investors will get fidgety and will need to be told what’s up with that.
I am also a realist and not everything is perfect. Covid Virus in Malaysia is no good; worst rate yet but not worst death rate. Not sure Lynas can escape any further impact; though holding production to 75% (an adjustment made when fear factor was much higher) does not worry me yet, it could.
Much depends on broader market concerns; only if they are assuaged do I expect a big up-move. But ALWAYS interesting.
