I do totally agree with you that buying a falling is just a very bad idea. Just like trying to catch a falling knife while standing on edge of roof. Takes discipline to ignore it. When any stock falls I never buy, It took me many years, with several big loses to develop the necessary discipline to do this. I I always wait for solid news that what caused fall is over and a Q or two of good news on revenue, there be a delay but if revenue is going up earnings will follow. I will always miss the bottom doing this. Compared to buying into many false bottoms I will be way ahead.

For Lynas I want to see increasing revenue. This will take a combination of two Items. First NdPrO production above NEXT rates which should have happened years ago, Next is 1800 T a Q. I would want to see at least a Q preferably 2 above 2000.
Second NdPr prices above 650 and rising. This means I miss bottom for sure. Buying rising stocks is always a good thing. I think 2 charts tell thinking people why I pick these benchmarks.





I have been asked by 600ml why I do not go back further, this chart shows the rise in NdPrO that propelled Lynas SP to a decade long high of AU$11.59. In May of 2022 I think that showing that rise is a great place to start.
