Absolutely true what you say about REE.

As yet they have not even drilled beneath the fenite indicator minerals that the Mariano father and son identified a few years ago and so DTR does not yet have any concrete evidence of REE mineralisation, apart from a few outcrops. Because a geologist will take samples of the most promising rocks, they invariably have higher grades than will be encountered as "averaged" findings from drill results. Hence, I take these claims of "highest grade in the world" with a pinch of salt. If people need to see what are high grades then they should look at proven resource results for MEI (Brazil) and PEK (Tanzania).
The early Marianos study indicated that any REE would be beneath the fenite, within carbonatite which is reasonably deep. DTR has not had funds to target the REE as well as develop the gold mine at Colosseum and rationally decided to chase the gold. Only now are they able to plan drilling for the REE.

Geological surveys would suggest that Colosseum is part of the formation that Mountain Pass exploits and so all these claims of the highest grade REE in the world comes from sheer manipulation by rabid speculators who want to profit on the back of the US desire to obtain its own supplies independent of China.
In fact, the US would have no problem obtaining REE ore from many countries. It is not the ore, it is the refined products that China has a stranglehold on. Lynas is working on establishing a refinery in Texas for heavy rare earths (Dysprosium and Terbium in particular) but this seems to be dragging out.
I very much doubt if DTR will ever try and establish a REE refinery (even Mountain Pass has not done this since China sent them into bankruptcy some years ago) but will send a concentrate of the ore to a refinery, whether in the US or elsewhere (assuming commercial quantities of REEs are found - still an open question).

It is hard to predict how far the current hysteria for DTR stock will go but we are clearly experiencing the kind of irrational momentum that takes hold of a stock in the US from time to time. Probably best to let it run but take some profits along the way because these manipulated mass hysterias in the US can collapse just as quickly as this one has started. Long term, I expect DTR to do well but exactly where its value ends up is hard to pick at present when we do not yet have a DFS for the gold mine and the REE is at early exploration stage.
The gold at Colosseum is a given and the still to be produced DFS will give good indication of the value in re-establishing the mine there.

OK, I am now standing back and waiting to be savagely attacked as a down-ramper, which bothers me not in the least since I have held the stock since 2021 and do not mind admitting that I have had a few heartfelt doubts along the way with my last buy at A$0.004. I must admit, the way that Stephen Bagdadi kept buying stock on market gave some hope but the Idaho shambles almost caused me to toss the whole lot.

P.S. I avoid giving any sentiment since everyone's circumstances are different and I leave people to use their own judgement from what I say.
