    I think this will end with the JV partner purchasing BCC's equity share and, if BCC is lucky, also obtain back payment for revenue that they were suppose to receive but didn't.

    So overall it will be a favourable outcome for BCC, the thing is the JV partner must know BCC doesn't have the distribution network so may lowball the price and BCC will accept without pushing too hard for fair value because they know they're not in a position to actually takeover the entire product.
