It is a little complex, but makes perfect sense people. A lot of the issue lies around the actions of Mr Johnson - if these actions were deemed legal, many other things fall into place. I agree, it appears that Cominere had a case of sellers remorse and so wants to renegotiate.

AVZ is now showing a softening stance, offering to renegotiate the purchase value of the 15% ownership, which while I do not side with understand - it may be a small price to pay to continue to do positive things within Manono.
