I have always held the view that considered negotiations and settlements is the way forward for all parties . AVZ exploration rights and JORC/site development has to be recognised; DRC’s ultimate ownership and beneficiary rights have to be maximised and critical strategic partners like battery manufacturers and mining and infrastructure behemoths commercial interests have to be factored in satisfactorily . Period . Now I’ll be a son of a gun if this can’t be achieved and shareholders and DRC peoples desperate requirements addressed . Very glad this word (“negotiation” is being introduced .
Fact is that lithium is such a critical resource over the next 20-30 years (and not just for evs ) and this project is going to be so beneficial to so many parties . Time to look forwards gang - and forget the past .
