Actually, the number of trades is dependent on many more factors than market conditions. An important factor is the attractiveness of the available trading platforms to infrequent traders. An even more important factor, certainly much more important than market conditions, is the attractiveness of the available trading platforms to frequent traders. Anybody who might think that this is a non-issue should have a good hard look at the average number of trades per client at SWF. DYOR.
