Undaunted "and your point is?"
It must be remembered that at one stage DAU had 100% ownership of Plutonic Dome – 52 tenements covering 412 sq. klms – it ‘gave it all away’ for a total of less than $9m (capped) to VAN – ironically DAU is now fighting VAN for its ‘rights’ to contribute proportionally to capex funding for the right to earn up to 50% of K2 – (1 tenement). Plus factor in that the two takeover bids have resulted in VAN being DAU's largest shareholder (21.96%) - its the deal of the century! DAU may eventually 'cost' VAN a total of around $15m (worst case) - totally insignificant cost of doing business when you have tenements with a 5 year old JORC (yet to be updated) of 1 Million oz @ USD$1600 = $1.6 Billion!!!!
Let me know if you can find a better cost of acquisition?
