One of the things I have really liked about the STX threads on HC is that it's been pretty much free of the mindless optimism that characterises so many stocks on HC and so often leads to people losing their money when it all goes sour, because they haven't properly evaluated the risks when all they're hearing is endless positivity.

But it looks like it's starting to show up here. I guess it had to eventually. Those calling for more of it should be careful what they wish for IMO. We all want STX to be a success, but you don't need to hear it repeated like an affirmation mantra. When it just reinforces what you want to hear, it's good to hear it, but it really doesn't do you any favours. It just potentially may cloud your judgement to evaluate the stock objectively. You're just seeking out confirmation bias.

HC is absolutely littered with stories of this sort of thing.
