What you mention is my main concern here too. I asked a German Geo a few years back what he thought of DAV, he said looks good etc. I asked him his final thoughts....He said, if it is a mining hopeful based in Germany then I would steer clear.
But, I stayed invested for two reasons, 1, Mining stock quite often ignore the protest issues until it actually stops the operation moving forward, somewhere we are quite a way from,and, 2, After Covid we are not sure how countries will change their policies based on ability to source important products locally, Potash being one of those products.
Been a turd of a stock up till now and the German aspect is what I believe is holding it back.
