I was looking at the QGC as a case study. BG bought around a 9-10% stake around April from memory (don't quote me on that) and later bought the company out in around Nov/Dec 2008 (note- this was at the peak downturn of the GFC)
if we were to get 2.5tcf from DD2, a 10% sake would be worth around 250million. this would be plenty of cash to drill a couple more holes within the tenement to confirm a potentially mouth-watering larger resource that large player/s would be interested in acquiring.
All speculation at this stage...DYOR, TIME will tell.
The EXR team is doing a fantastic job. I have full confidence in their professionalism and skill set to execute the required decisions going forward.
I will now sit back in the shadows and patiently wait however long it takes.
