This is so f*ing dissapointing.

I mean the current flow rates are highly likely due to a stimulation program that was dragged out for 6 months because of contractor f* ups, not because this play this doesn't work. We should have enough data to inform the design of DD3.

IF a Joint Venture is still forthcoming, the terms on which we do it might be a lot less in our favour then when we had a commercial appraisal well. Just goes to show that modelling a flow rate doesn't take into account a well sitting there for 3-6 months post-stim without being able to get the fluids out. I'd say we're totally f*ed by Hal and then subsequently the fact we needed to share the CTU with Shell which caused a further delay.

I'm not selling, at the end of the day there was always going to be a long wait between now and DD3. The difference is that instead of a positive end note of the program, it's a f*ing bad one.
