That doesn't sound right. I suspect the range should be much wider. I'd guess maybe a 50% increase for skin fracs in more permeable formations, and 2000% (and probably higher) for bigger fracs in extremely tight formations.
I believe McGuire and Sikora did some work that showed most fracs in undamaged zones would be expected to result in a 2-14 fold increases in productivity index... And that work was in the 1960s so I would think we might be aiming higher now!
