With TD approaching I’m already looking forward to the next at steps:

Following the acquisition of logs and core samples, open-hole DFITs will be used tocalibrate the new MEM. The well will be completed by perforating with 60° phasing in a plug-and-perf operation with at least eight zones targeted. A novel aspect of thisstrategy is that selected coal zones will be flowed back immediately in an Extended Flow-back Test (EFT) to ascertain the gas contribution specific to the FTMC play. It is anticipated that for mixed sandstone-coal zones, the novel application of passive dynamic diversion will reduce the need for a number of bridge plugs as the modelled strain difference between coal and sandstone in the MEM is sufficient to allow stimulation of coals via diversion methods. The stimulation strategy will use mainly 30/50 mesh proppant with 20-pound Guar and cross-link gel with ceramic proppants used for coal stimulation. The program will incorporate the novel use of ceramic 325C micro proppants instead of standard 100 white mesh. Stimulation will alsouse the latest friction inhibitors and surfactants, subject to Capillary Suction Time tests. On completion of the nominated EFTs the well will be shut in and re-entered on coil tubing before a production logging tool is run and bridge plugs set before moving up to the next zone for perforation. The well will be flowed-back as a single completion for an Extended Production Test.
