Cast your minds back to August 2022 when we paid this to EnergyCapture (I tracked their shareholdings a while back- there was some hare selldown- understandably, from I seem to recall 2 of the 4 beneficiaries but from memory the other 2 still retain all their allocated holdings- with another tranche still to be allocated I think).

We gots ourselves an absolute bargain. A "highly opportune acquisition" stated Neil.

A lot of folk have previously posed a rather obvious question- I know I did- why hadn't Santos or Shell snapped up ATP2044 ?....is there something wrong with it?.

Seemingly not- NY has explained it a few times that we were just very nimble and snatched the opportunity- we all know how slow & bureaucratic large enterprises can be in decision making and actions.

These 4 EnergyCapture guys must be absolutely frothing.....lotsa upside potential on their shares AND a 3% royalty on condensate (only).....that will be a very nice potential earner for years to come. They'll realise value from their original ownership much faster with us than if they'd been dealing with a major.....they'd probably still be in a DD phase.
