As a number of posters on HC always asking others with no contribution just hasn't management done a good job the bots are keeping the SP down.

There are standard industry docs and approaches you use from fixed lump sum/low risk to day rate/higher risk and things in between and you can ask for what ever safe guards you need to protect your position. NY appears to have gambled and still no updates on the additional costs/charges and what can and cannot be claimed back as part of the R&D, eg, is it already fixed against the original tender or can be adjusted against actual paid.

Generally a junior explore tends to be a little cautious particularly when it has no funds but needs that news to avoid a low CR - sounds familiar.
